woo hoo, the vols won. T-13 days to leave. the trip up to the game there seemed to be quite a bit of traffic, of course we don't live near any interstate, so anything is more than we usually see
anyway, we only saw one Central truck so far on the trip. I guess I must be bad, cause I missed the forum so much, I had to log on through my cell phone and see what was going on. anyway, just wanted to share that. I will type more on a normal size keybaord in a few hours.

OMG!!!! Can't believe how much popcorn and soda costs nowadays at a theater. Felt like asking for KY jelly after looking at the prices.
KH- congrats on the new gig and apt. Actually got an address for the TA and plugged it into my GPS so should have no problems finding it. Maybe, hopefully. Talked to a driver here and it seems that the city is putting up roadblocks to get to that place and making it as hard as possible. Guess there not allowed in the city, proper, anymore.

this message is for JJ
in reading another site forum. one post said he hated his pcmiler. another lady loved hers. and some other dude had only one error, (becuase he wasn't paying attention).
don't know what version software jj has, but apparently there is an update. quite possibly 2 updates. they also mentioned that the updates wipeout the memory card pcmiler uses. i don't have a pcmiler, but if i did the update, i would most defenitly remove the memory card first. provided the pcmiler will do the update without the memory card. if not, then backup the data on laptop. if laptop don't have a memory card slot. an adapter can be easily bought at most stores. cheap. i bought my lappie when i first started trucking 8 years ago. that technology didn't exist back then. i bought my adapter from wally for $7. about 2 years ago.
just thought i would pass this info along in case of interest and not aware of the update.
i've also seen mention of a websight called truckmiles. also lists truck stops. amenities and fuel prices. in case anyone interested.
