I'm 100% sure that he did, I was running the 40 for about a day & a half. Dropped onto it in Albuquerque & ran it all the way to Barstow.

Be sure to tell him that if he ever comes across a white Volvo with "WOW" stickers on both bat wings he found me.

Well I'm scheduled to get rolling again tomorrow, however this nonstop heavy snowing may cause me to stay a little longer then planed.

JJ,

No problem man. I've in your shoes two times and know how you feel. Good luck in the next weeks as they will be hard times.

Hello, i have a question for all of you at Central. Are any of you doing the lease thing with Central and if so did you do it from the start or wait for a while? and how much different is the pay on lease versus being in a regular company truck? I kind of like what a lot of you have to say about central but on their websight it says company drivers get volvos and i hate those trucks, it says lease are kenworths any truth to this?? i want a good truck like a kenworth, over a volvo.. Any insight from all of you would be very helpful.

yes company drivers get vovos, i have also seen co drivers in w9s also. but central is getting rid of the volvos and they are starting to replace them with new international prostars. asfor the lease thing you have to wait 3 months after school to do it. but now the bad news central is no longer hiring experienced drivers they are only hiring students and training them the way they want them trained. i hope i have answered your question and good luck.

Don't know why all these people keep thinking that leasing is a good idea. Ya, there are people that can make it at the lease thing... But not many at all.

You shouldn't let the make of truck you drive dictate who you drive for. Volvos are far from the best, but they all will have their problems from time to time. Just ask to get a W9 or a T2 or wait awhile & let the Prostars get worked into the fleet.

Hi Peanut Butter, JJ is a L/O, He did the company thing for a while, in May he will have been with the Lease program for a year.

Its like any Business, I wouldn't recommend a Lease program for anyone who had to be home every couple of weeks, because it will take you two weeks to play catch up.

If you have recent experience I would have a look at the JCT Lease if that is what you are interested in.........JCT apparently pay fuel surcharge on loaded and empty miles, and there program if you complete your Lease the truck is yours for a dollar, So they say lol.

We really don't have a lot of complaints with Central, but apparently we have one of the few good FMs.

There Lease trucks are Kenworths, Petes, Volvo's and soon the Pro-star.

You get to choose which you want.
