JJ is a L/O and has been running Solo for almost a year, There Lease Program is just a Lease Program you lease the truck for 3 years and pay the Value of the truck when you finish the Lease.

They Pay 0.85 cents a mile when you first start, Fuel Surcharge on loaded miles only, so all dead heading your paying for your own Fuel.

Try keep your dead head for the month under 10% and you will do OK, Some of there charges are more expensive then other Companies, QC is $22 a week, they have an over milage charge, to make money you want to be getting the over milage charge.

There are fairer lease programs around.

If ya dont mind me asking jess what are the payments on their lease, whats the over mileage charge?

I've heard some bad things about their lease program, people saying its a scam, just wondering if their just whining?

I know having a good DM makes a big difference, how long is jj usually out for at a time? I heard jj was trying to become a trainer next month any word on how thats goin, be great to get him!!

Thanks jess that helps a lot! How many miles you aloud before the charge kicks in?

The mysterious JJRanch is checking in. Well Chevy i can tell you that my core truck charge is 585 but with all the other things that go along with it like truck insurance etc you are looking around 7 to 8 hundred per week. the over milage is about 2 to 3 cpm above 10500 miles a month. there are better lease programs out there if you got the experience but this is one of the better start outs to learn how to be an o/operator. one of the key things is to have a good FM to keep you moving and you can't take alot of time off you won't make any money. hope this helps you out Chevy I would also talk with trusted friends like i do with my ex-trainer Paul who is a good friend of mine and also happens to be a lease operator, we help each other out quite a bit. well hope this helps JJRanch/JJTruckin

chevytruckin i have been at centrals school for 1 week now. i test out and get a trainer at the end of next week. the school is very fast paced and be warned if you lie about anything on your application at all prev criminal history, minor parking tickets or traffic tickets, or your past employment history, you will be sent home on the spot at your own expense. these guys do not play i have seen it first hand theysent 5 home wed for undisclosed info also do not think for 1 minute you can skate the drug test becouse you wont . if you dont have aproblem with any of this and are a fast learner then centrals probally for you. any questions just ask and i will try to help.

Thank you for posting this, Z28.

Here is how CAREFUL you need to be:
When I sent in my app I had worked for 3 companies in the previous 10 years. One was a mom and pop lumber yard from 9-10 years ago. I just jotted a phone number down from memory on my app.

During orientation, Wayne from Safety came in and pulled me, saying that they couldn't verify the lumber yard job from 10 YEARS AGO!

Luckily, we googled the place and Wayne called and verified on the spot.

It goes to show how careful they are about these things.
