JimThe Hut,
Is 4 weeks with a trainer enough time? Only you can answer that question. With the company I'm with, its only 3 weeks. I was my trainers 2nd student. Needless to say, I did my time. Most of what I've learned out here, I learned on my own and with NOT being afraid to go up to an old timer and tell him that I'm brand new and if he had the time, I'd sure like to pick his brain. You'd be amazed at just how many are willing to help you that way!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Am in Lima, OH tonight. My 1st P&G load and can tell you already that it sucks. Thought only meat plants had a window. JK. Anyway, no parking allowed on their property, my load isn't ready yet, and found out the difference in how your treated, depending on how you treat them. When I told them my time was up and asked if I was allowed to do my 10 there, the answer was no. I said cool, truck stops are full already, know where I can stay at? Gave me 4 different places. Another driver, throws a fit, and all he gets is, sorry thats the policy here and got no help!!! Are you new drivers learning from this little lesson?

I will know more tomorrow on what the next steps will be. I'm not expecting much as my app pretty much laid it all out there - one speeding ticket on the Interstate 7 years ago in Kansas. I'm still crossing my fingers. I need a job. I'm tired of the write, re-write, & submit laundry cycle of doing resumes.

I just kinda wanted to say thank to everyone for at least being honest about the company which played a larger part in why I submitted my app to Central.
Welcome to the Central mad house Good luck with the App.

Gee.
One in Barkeysville. Food is better at the Kwik fill nextdoor by the way. Espically breakfast.
One in Lima...cannot help you with grub there.
I am at a rest area just west of where I-80 meets I-81. Ran too late I guess, no room at loves, and I was not turning around and going back to the TA.
Headed to CT. Been a while since I went that way. But it is allot of "green" miles, so .04 more per mile. Dispatch keeps forgetting I am on OH regional I think and sending me into Carlisle regionals area.

She is in an aircast right now. We go back to the doctor next week and will go from there then. Hoping she can just use this cast/brace when needed for extra support so we can be done with all this. Thanks for asking.

Well 1bad is at conley getting his sensor thingy fixed and having lunch I assume. Looks like he will just be home for his 10 hour break. DM said he didn't request home time and Kraft is running this weekend so he has to get back out asap. Hopefully he will get to come home and stay all weekend next weekend. Cooking him his favorite tonight homemade burritos, tacos and been dip. Should be good for him. Guess I need to go to the store to restock his truck for next week .I will check back in later.
