The kids had a soccer game at Dicks Sporting Goods park, which is pretty close to the Henderson terminal. We stopped by and some of the driver's had a pretty good BBQ going.
Didn't see anybody on the forums there, but I'll check again next time.
And I'll say it again, PLEASE do not judge our beautiful state because of that dirty old Henderson terminal.
P.S. Chromedome, I did get to meet 6pak in Colorado. He even bought lunch! Thanks again, 6pak for that.

I rolled into the Fontana terminal yesterday after driving all night. After sleeping for a bit I was sitting up in the cab watching this truck driving circles in the lot looking for a place to park. Turned out to be 6pak. We both were in need of cigarettes and Starbucks so I hopped into his truck and he sprung for the coffee. (Still haven't been able to get a dinner out of him. I should probably just give up!!)
I pick up my next load later today and heading to Indiana. In the meantime my mother and stepfather are driving down from the Magic Mountain area to take me to lunch.

Well 1bad is at home for the day this 34 is up in the morning at 7:00. Atleast we can have a birthday breakfast before he leaves tomorrow. The cheesecake didn't go over so well with him. He said it was to crumbly but guess what he ate it. So it must not have been all that bad! Any way I'm sure he will be on here later he is out trying to figure out why the check engine light won't go out on the truck. Gotta get a tag for it tomorrow. But not real sure if it will pass emissions till we get this light off. Anyway I am off for the day one of my sisters is due in from KY anytime now. And I only get to see her every couple years so I will spend the day and night visiting. I think my Brother is coming and we are all going out somewhere for dinner later. Anyway ya'll be safe and if your ever in Atlanta hit us up. I'm always around and 1bad is usually around every couple of weeks at least!

Check the gas cap widow. And check to see if there are any pin holes in the fill tube.
It may not be the problem, but for some reason this causes those lights to go on allot lol.
I know that NY will not pass an inspection if the light is on. Most others are probibly the same.
BTW, I know that is a stupid thing to say to check, but you would be amazed how often it is the little overlooked things that cause issues.

Central Drivers: Do the Central trucks have any creature comforts inside the cabs; i.e. fridge, micro, color tv, satellite radio, room service, etc? Just trying to determine what I'll need once I'm off and running. Thanks, Scott

ha ha you gotta be kidding if you want any of that stuff u gotta buy it. now remember these trucks all run off dc power so unless you buy an inverter a good one will run 250 plus and you also have to buy the wiring kit and pay central to install it for insurance and safety purposes. now a good fridg. i recomend the avanti is around 200 a tv/ dvd combo 220 and up. microwave 130 you can add satellite radio and tv but you pay for it every month. also a cb and radar detector are your responsability to purchace. youll also want to take the factory cb antennas off and get some that will give you a little better range depending on which cb you buy a cb shop will help select the proper antennas. you also have to purchace your own load locks and trl lock from central. these will be a payroll ded.
