widow, right now the girlfriend and i are engaged but i am pretty sure that if we were to get married that we would not last more than a year. Besides her, all of my friends and my family, especially my grandmother support me in my decision. I do not know why she will not support me, maybe a trust issue or something. My grandma really wants to see me make something of myself and finding work locally here in the north metro is not going to do that for me, especially since almost everyone i know that is looking for jobs cannot find them up here. my heart and all keep telling me i need to go to school at central and start driving, but then i have my girlfriend on my back telling me to stay home. i am ready to be on the open road and start driving for central...

to the newbees and wannabees i have posted this before and i will post it again. just remimber you are signing a CONTRACT.... A LEGAL BINDING DOCUMENT...... That if you do not finish your year by either quiting or getting fired you owe the hole price of the school $3000.00 plus Centrals attorneys fees. and court costs. and if you dont pay they have been known to attach leins to your home or car or what ever else you may own. is that worth going to school driving 3 months then decide its not for you . iys your call not mine. do what you want but dont let me be the one to say what comes after im telling you thats I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!!!!!!

!bad, don't make me have to hunt you down and slap you upside the head. Buy Widow some flowers to look at when she wakes up. Heck, send me a PM, telling me her room number and I'll send them and put them in your name. lol WOW!!! How did you get 9 yrs experience so fast? lol
Was up all day yesterday and then drove all night. Was pretty whooped by the time I hit Eaton. Getting ready to lay back down for another nap then will be hitting the road again about 8 for another all night drive. Just hope it won't be in the fog this time!! Could have already headed out but trying to find a parking place at 0300 or so is next to impossible. Should be almost to the NY border when I shut down again and will make my final push tomorrow night.

Central will get me in right away and when I am done paying my dues to them, I will be able to work for some more local trucking companies. Right now I just need the training and experience.
It used to be that you could find a good job with 1 yrs experience. With the economy, the glut of drivers at the moment, and insurance requirements, your now looking at closer to 3 yrs to get on with somebody who is NOT a mega carrier but IS quality. Just keep that in mind please.

I guess since i am no longer a Central driver i guess i don't rate along with Chrome , panhandle and last kid and others we know since its for experienced Central Drivers only and to clone my facebook page and doing this with out telling me or talking it over with me first really p!$$e$ me off!!! you should have atleast showed me a little respect if you wanted to have a place for only central drivers to vent you should have just created a central only facebook biotch site. well my jjs place is still open to All my friends. just go to the original jjs place. And i want no part of your cloned site. and if it was not for our openness to every one this thread would not be as popular as it is and we would not have known each other or became friends with that said be sure to go to the site that is open to all that contact me and 1bad i would appreciate it if you would change the members only site to something else so it wont be confused with my site.

Not true you have some home depot loads you might have to assist, Christmas tree loads and you driver assist at Fred Meyer stores. but the the rest is lumper unload which Central pays for or drop and hook. Please don't post in accurate info be 100% sure of your info before you post, keep in mind that there are a lot of current Central drivers who have worked there longer than you.
