Dang just dropped off 10000 lbs of turkey burgers. Didn't sleep too well last night. Reefer quit functioning. Nice person banged on cab to let me know. Drove to KC TK yard. Tech arrived and installed new starter for reefer. Made delivery a little late. Caught small amount of grief from night crew because I didn't call receiver and leave message we were late.
The item that ticks me off. I told them they busted my rest period when they insisted I go to the shop instead of tech to field. Then the night crew comes across with some fixit by changing some line 4, but they don't even grasp it was the 14 hour day.
Oh well it ended well now off to PA with a Drop when I get there....coool

AHHH what a bad day... started off ok. I am really starting to think that people who live in NC and WV don't have an iq of over 5. Woke up and started up I 40 from a rest stop in clinton NC. Got to Raleigh and hit traffic... ok no big deal. UNTIL I saw the cause of the traffic... some douchebag 4 wheeler parked on the shoulder partly onto the lane of traffic walking his dog. WTF?!?! 20 miles later some guy is walking on the center median. How the hell did he get there and is still upright? Continue on my way... more traffic... stop and go for about 20 miles... near the 1st toll booth.. what do I see? Half a trl. No tractor... just 1/2 a trl. from the looks of it, it look like it exploded. Went through the toll booth and I saw 1/2 a tractor. only the bottom 1/2 frame and axles. Now I'm 2 hours behind. Follow my route to my 99. Then on I 64 every other mile they are setting up for construction more stop and go traffic. SO finally got the Pilot in Mt.l Shelton to shut down. Now I might be late with my load because of all the crap today!

It had already been a few hours down the temp was rising pretty good. I was alseep. In hindsight I was about 45 mins shy of 8 hours. In the heat of the moment (BAD PUN) and the late hour not all cylinders were running upstairs. The other oddity was they didn't call the tech in until I was parked at their shop????

Ya..sorry.. My dog really needed to go... Hahahaha.. Sorry man.. I think somewhere on 40 its shut down because of that massive rock slide they had.. I think their still cleanin up..
Well it only cost about 600 to get the apu up and running.. Now they say the motor mounts are bad.. Man.. Those mechanics down in conley sure are top grade... I can't wait to see em again.. I'm gunna pat em on the back and smirk.. They really are just "playing" mechanic.. Hell I'm starting to think everyone there are just big pretenders..
I can't wait to get back up to wvdc.. I love the views, the food from around wal mart... The wal mart... Plus I got atleast 9 videos to watch and a safety meeting to attend.. Hopefully the truck wash work when I get there...

and when I looked again she was gone.
