It seems the more drama you give FM/planners the less miles you get.
I'll have to throw the BS Card out on that one. define decient miles. I gave no drama did favors for dispatch and the load planners but the miles they were giving me along with a lot of dead head and a lot of time on the loads was not very cost effective even when getting there early asking to deliver early or getting a drop authorization almost took an act of congress to get done so in the end i left Central it just didnt work out for me as a lease op, but it seems like it is working for you.

Ended up having to stop # 40 miles short of where I wanted today. Was going for the rest area on I 64 just east of St Louis. Having to get a new steer tire sure put me behind. That and the fact that htere's just not much this side of the gates and not enough time to get thru it.
JJ, really good to see your happy again AND back on YOUR thread!!!!
I will be going through OKC Tomarrow Night i pick up in Galveston tomarrow am and deliver fri in the am in KC Sorry i wont have time to stop but ring me if you see me. JJ

take info you get with a grain of salt , just do your research if it feels like a fit then take a chance. Like jess says you can deal with it long enough to get the experience to move on just expect and plan for the worst and you wont be dissappointed. The company i am with now was not my first choice to go to under the circumstances but so far they seem to be working out. I am getting more miles so far with them than i got solo running for Central. the pay isnt stellar but alot of the benefits make up for the lower amount. so dont rush it research and if it feels good to you go for it. JJ

Well the elusive JJ is in Houston delivering sporting goods and tomarrow it will be another produce load. then off to KC and who knows after that. Might be a reset because my hrs are looking thin but i still have about three more days until ill have to worry about my 70. My pro star is now up to 7.4 MPG and thats running full tilt boogie at 65. My idle is down so at the rate i am going my truck will be set at 67 on the cruise after home time. I am missing jess and the doggies and cant wait until the whole crew is back on board. so if ya see a white with green fenders Cargo Express prostar pulling a Navajo Trailer, give me a wave, flash your lights because its JJ back in the saddle and maybe we might have a chance for a cup of joe, i know i still owe Chrome a cup and Jess is having coffee with 6PAK on Fri. JJRanch.

My leak is in the parking break handle. I kinda heard it "singing". One night on a very level surface, I set the trailerbrake and not the tractor. Oh yeah and I set chocks too :)
. Still had pressure after 10 hours. Had 2 mechanics unable to find leak any where else, but otrm insists that is a warrantee issue and would not ok fix. I did finally get the oil changed

Ya know oldnewbie.. I wish a lot I had went with tmc.. If you able to tarp and what not.. Think about their school.. They have flat bed, drop deck, curtain side.. They have john deere accounts.. You can either get paid percentage or by the mile.. Their super strick.. But drive beautiful 379s and ugly 387s.. They seem like a nice bunch..
