Hey, you say you like it and located out of Pismo ? I am in Oregon and thinking of going with Swift, Can I ask you what route you run? and what kind of weekly pay you are getting?
It's just so hard to see a lot of the good here in so many negative posts in the swift forums, sometimes I have to check and make sure I didn't accidentily get into the Hate forums LoL

I am looking forward to running the west coast area, but will see what I can get out of Troutdale Oregon where my local terminal would be.

Thanks for any info.

Hey bud! I just got my own truck last Monday. Right now I'm getting $500.00-$650.00 per wk. depending on the miles, less taxes, school, and med.ins. For just starting out, it's not bad. The plan is to stick out the first year and re-think from there. I run all 48 states and get home every couple of weeks. I know the I-5 corridor is fairly good for you're neck of the woods but trying to get it as you're route could be a challenge! Best of luck too you! Polk Salit out!

Hey MAJIK Lady! I'm glad things are going well! I'm traveling the road in my own truck now and I love it! The six weeks with you're mentor will go by quick so pay attention to you're log, circle of service macro's, and backing skills. My mentor was great, but it's still hard to be not more than three feet away from another person, who's not you're spouse, for six weeks! I wish you the best of luck and hope to here from you soon! Polk Salit out!

Way cool, I have an opportunity to get my CDL first (4 week course) before I go sign on for training with the company. I guess I would run all 48 if thats what I need to get started. really no reason to be at home so much
THanks for the feedback and good luck !
