So he was on his way to the Volvo shop, and it broke down again on the way to the shop.

Now i know every company will have their problems, and some trucks just have this gremlin in them, and they never seem to get 'fixed' without another problem showing up. Just hope when I get into my own truck, it is problem free.
When I was with star out of nashville. My 1st truck made it 139 miles out of the gate and broke down. Was towed to a dealer. I broke down again in Allentown PA under a load and was towed to a dealer. They dropped the trailer there and the repower shows up to get my trailer and he breaks down at the dealer. I got my truck back and made it to VA and broke down again. I went thru 3 trucks in 3 months.....

Well that is the reason I am going to Swift. They didn't require a credit check, made sure my DMV record was good enough as well as my criminal history (dont have any), and can slowly pay back my half of schooling. I just want to go thru school, get my CDL, get some VALUABLE seat time, then go to wherever. I would like to try getting into their flatbed division, but I'll take whatever. I dont have any expectations, though was just sent an email saying training will be 23 days, then home for a couple days, then by bus to my home terminal for orientation, then right into a truck with a trainer. Also just got another email saying orientation would be at whatever 'home terminal' they assign me to. More than likely it would be MSP or KC.
