I would say everything [LINK POSTED BY MEMBER] Only Members Can View This Truck Forum Link. said was spot on.

I would like to add my own personal experience running in the north east for this company however.

I am out of the tulare, ca terminal and used to do a lot of longer loads to the east coast. I have given up doing those even though they are still available out of our area. The reason why is once I got to the east I got SCREWED. Lots of 300 miles loads that pick up tomorrow and deliver the next day after getting unloaded. I sat at the Columbus Terminal from the 2nd of july till the 6th without a load. I have a feeling that the east coast freight environment is like this for all companies and not just a Knight problem to be fair.

For the past two months I've been running northwest and have broken 10k each month.

Well, thanks for the vote, I appreciate it. Sounds like you've been running into the same obstacles I have miles wise. I just did an LA to Atlanta load that had 6 days to del, couldn't get in early. Then I sat for a 34 reset because all they had was a 200 mile load to Columbia. Seems to be the norm lately, good miles going East but nothing coming back. Oh well, let's see what tomorrow brings right?

You're a baaadd man, too?

What, if anything, do y'all know about Knight's 7 on -- 7 off, and other such dispatch options, specifically concerning the Phoenix terminal. And does Knight have a terminal in SoCal?

Does Knight have Los Angeles ---> Phoenix turns, or Los Angeles ----> San Francisco turns? And, if so, do driver trainers do those runs as a steady diet?

Also, do you reckon they'd accept a seasoned driver who has been off the road for over 10 years, but still in possession of a Class-A CDL?

Thanx in advance.

You're a baaadd man, too? There are times that I even scare myself.....

What, if anything, do y'all know about Knight's 7 on -- 7 off, and other such dispatch options, specifically concerning the Phoenix terminal. And does Knight have a terminal in SoCal?Yes, we have a terminal in Fontana. As for the 7/7 and such I'm not sure. You'd have to talk to one of the recruiters about it. PM me if you want and I'll give you a name and number.

Does Knight have Los Angeles ---> Phoenix turns, or Los Angeles ----> San Francisco turns? And, if so, do driver trainers do those runs as a steady diet? There's a Long Beach-Phoenix run with containers, and a LA-Phoenix/Vegas if you have doubles. Also a Sandy Eggo-Vancouver BC if you have Canada clearance. No driver trainer positions though.

Also, do you reckon they'd accept a seasoned driver who has been off the road for over 10 years, but still in possession of a Class-A CDL?Again you'd have to talk to a recruiter, I don't wanna give you bad info. I know they require 2 years, or did when they hired me.

Thanx in advance. You're welcome, although not in advance because that would require ESP or something, and I ain't even finished my coffee yet.....

Just out of curiosity, were you paid for the time between July 2nd and the July 6th for sitting? If not, you are working for a bad company.
