ronin listen man a person by the english they use cant or even be judged . at least to me. you may be explaining your back ground. there is a difference between book smarts and common sense and little of both goes a long way. one more question with your education why are you driving a tractor trailor?

It's all explained where the newbie attorneys in Maryland screwed things up...plus, I love driving, I had a CDL long before I took any college courses (23 years ago), and this job allows me to write and run around....plus I have a son in PA (with our grandson), a son and daughter in OKC, and my mom-in-law is in Coure D'Alene, ID - there's no ther job in the nation that allows me to visit the whole family on a decently regular basis without some major airfare money and lots of vacation time.

    ronin,

I agree with the fact that you love to visit your family on a regular basis and love to write as I do, but please do not tell other people how to write regardless of the education you have. some people take it personally as some people on here might. Can we get back to the thread here please mods.

Go back to the first thread and read all the post, you can probabley put two and two together from there. There is alot of good information on this forum if you can get past the some of the BS that is here.

    Good luck.

king hunter is correct about the education and this isnt the place for it. ronin i do agree about the love to drivewhether its local regional or otr. with england one of the things i hated about it was 4 weeks out 4 full days home right? not exactlly! everytime i was scheduled for my home time it was 3.5 days. i would probably go back when my children got older. the only reason i left england was because my 5 year old was depressed. so i got a local trucking job. the way i have it planned is when they get older im gonna drive otr

The problem with time off with having a lease truck, that most company drivers don't have to deal with...is that you still have fixed and variable costs still accumulate while you're sitting at home. Whether you earn money or not, those weekly costs are due at the tune of $1000-1500 per week. You don't make that money, you're just in the hole for next week.

Am I missing something but you should start another forum rather than go on about who has a degree and who hasn't. I believe this was about CR England and not eduction. Please let other enjoy the forum topic.
