Well u can still survive somewhat if u do the three weeks and go home two days. Depends on when u take ur two. I recommend at least 4-5 weeks.

No we don't have dedicated. It seems the teams r getting dedicated because the run they make is good for teams plus they also run hot loads. We do have freight going into la area all the time. So ud have high chance of stopping by more often.

I just heard some bad news they sent 5 guys home without telling them why. One of them was bigben. This is messed up what they're doing. I've tried to shed some light but no one will tell me either.

As I siad before scince John has washed his hands of the company and the boy's have taken over... things are a changing.They are doing things that are running off alot of the old timers that have been with John for years.It won't be long before they prolly sell the company.....they tried it before when John was still there but as John told them at the time you can sell the compay but what are you selling just the name.Because john owns the trucks and the property.(triple dimond leaseing)

Well then you don't understand the question. For example, I am currently under a load from Milton, PA to Wilsonville, OR- 2744 miles. I picked up Tues at 1200 and have to have it in OR Thurs at 1600. That's 57 hours. 2744 divided by 57= 48. So my dispatch is 48 miles per hour (no DOT breaks because I team.)

So for some of your loads to be dispatched at 72 you would have to have an 80 MPH truck that you could actually do 80 for the whole trip otherwise one fuel stop would put you in service failure territory. I don't know how your company operates so if they give you a load and tell you to just get there asap but no later than a certain time, then that certain time would be what you would use to calculate your dispatch speed. This is all I am trying to figure out. I have never run reefer before and it's my understanding that there are a lot of live unloads. Are they on a first come first serve basis, or by apt only, or a mix? For you guys to be getting 3000-3500 miles a week I would tihnk a lot of them are first come first serve, but no later than a certain time.

The main reason I asked is because I am interested in JCT but since I team the dispatch speeds they use would play a big part in my decision. I can run 50-55 MPH dispatches with no problem, but if it gets over that then that's a bit outside of my comfort zone.
My wife and I run team. We have plenty of time to run our loads. Example;
we picked up in Colton CA on Sunday morn, and our delivery time was set for 05:30 Wednesday morning. This run can be mad easy in 37 hours, so you see we had time to stop do laundry, wal mart shopping, and showers. The load we are taking back does not deliver for 7 days, so we will drop in Mira Loma or swap with some one on the way. They keep the teams moving. We run 64 to 65 mph on the flat

John is still there running the show. I've been here 4 years and not much has changed other than thepeople inside the office. A lot of old timers are still there so yea I don't think its that bad. They've tightened the regulations cuz either last year or the year before we got audited and dot said if we don't change they'll shut us down. So yea blame the government regulations for screwing this awesome company over. We can still make good money here just gotta be more careful with our comic books. Haha
