Because I am looking to get into ownership. Not company driving.

Are you with Werner now?? from your profile it says you got 1 year exp. If you have less than 18months exp they will send you out with a trainer for a few weeks. If you got any questions we'll be here to answer them for ya.

hmm lets see here, stevens baby their drivers too much!! You will never own your truck after your lease. Stevens drivers don't make nearly as much as JCT drivers, unless you go out and train. So yea there are many reasons why JCT is superior over Stevens.

My advice would be (The problem I'm having today will it affect me 1 year, 5 years or the rest of my life if it will then it's a real problem, if not then work through it.) Yeah I got frustrated but after it was all said and done no harm just a little time hanging around a TA. Things happens is what I'm getting at, just weigh out the big picture and ask yourself what do I want out of this. I have met many many drivers here at JCT so far that make a good living so it's worth it to me. Mechanical issues alway stink but I can be pretty sure JCT just like you wish they didn't happen. If they don't take care of it or help you resolve it then that's a different story, hopefully they will. But I can tell you before I throw in the towel I will be sitting across from John Christners desk asking for his help first. That's what I would do if I was having major problems, remember he's here to make money just like you. Always go in asking for HELP don't go in making demands or complaints, asking for help garners someones sympathy instead of them getting defensive. So mask your complaint as asking for help! I promise you this works better I sat on the other side of that desk for many years and it always worked on me. LOL
Thanks, & I understand & agree 100%. My concerns have to do with 'other' issues. Let me just say, I try to play by the rules, & apparently, playing by the rules doesn't work very well here.

Why not Stevens????? God don't tell me Primexample you mean Stevens Transport instead of JCT, that's like comparing a Snail to a Cheetah. I would recommend her to come to Prime as a company driver before suggesting Stevens. Theres absolutely no comparison between Stevens and JCT and you have to know that.

I really do believe other drivers want to see people fail at trucking I swear I do.

Translation: They want me to break HOS Regulations inorder to make on time pick up and deliveries.

Don't blame you crow. Todays lawyers are savvy to all the ways they can track your position by the minute. As long as you don't have an injury accident, and you make your logs look good for Mr. DOT Man, you will be ok. BUT, if that injury accident ever happens, and you are not very close to 100% legal (i.e. your logs match the technology), your screwed, and all those big miles will mean squat.

This is just my opinion of reading between the lines, and I could be wrong. I hope so.

Well they don't really push drivers, in the end u gotta stand up for yourself if they do. Protect urself. I'm sure if u tell the safety guy of this issue I'm sure it'll be fixed. I don't know if those r the rules u r talking about chcrow.
