Granted I have run the truck a little faster then I should have 65-68 mph avg but I just couldn't help myself after running 55-58 at Prime to make half the money I'm making here at JCT. Keep in mind most states I've been in are 70-75 mph states so I'm not breaking the law. I will eventually slow down to 63-64 mph avg the truck seems to like that speed with fuel and pulling hills. But I feel like a kid again having fun working!
Hey old man... it's good to hear you are doing good at JCT... watch that 68mph you might get nose bleed...

You can call and check to see if they have earlier ones. Sometimes people cancel at last minute.

Does jct do alot of broker freight? Also was wondering once I come over there was looking into getting an apu unit. I have one on the trk I'm driving now (company trk) it seems to help on fuel mileage. It seems practical to get, especially when ur waiting to get loaded on hot summer days, or cold winter nights. It really cuts down on idle time, and that should help on fuel cost and mpg in the long run. It does add weight to the trk though. Opinions?

They do do business with some brokers. As far as apu unit, if the truck you picked didn't have one you will have to wait 90 days before they will allow it.

Hey thx for the info alan. Is it common place for the trks to have an apu already? Or is it up to the driver if he/she wants to pay to have one put on?
