It's just a regular physical, the cough test, hahaha. They used to use super 8 when i started 4 years ago, they claim that because we got alot of drivers that go over there when the truck is in the shop they say the days in have more space for our trucks to park over there. I really don't know the condition of that days inn, maybe vulcan can give you a good description.

If you are enjoying your routine right now why change. Being a L/P will be like running a business. More stress on you and you won't be able to go home as often as you like or else you'd be in the whole forever like some of the drivers that we got.

not all of them, just some of them, those will be the brand new trucks. the old ones that they give out are behind the bull pen usually from the 2nd row back.

I myself do exactly just that stay out 5-6 weeks then go home for 3 days. they prefer you send in a hometime request 2 weeks advance. I prefer taking weekends off friday sat and sun cuz I can normally fit a load before hometime and squeeze one before wednesday so I can either make a low check or break even so I don't go under when I come back out.

Hey Vulcan, what do u normally get after a delivery over there in the Portland/Clackamas area? Where does it normally go, or does it depend on the time of year?

From what I'm being told is I'll head up to Washington either Tyson or an apple load.
