Pretty crappy reason for sending someone home. It is not like it does not happen every day in the real world. Sometimes if you don't ease out, you will never get anywhere. But, if they warn you, I guess it is well within their rights to enforce it. Good info, tho, thanks. As others have said, I will wait all day, especially since the truck is so under powered. Better to take longer and pass.

Sorry for the bad news, trucker. Good luck to you, and Thanks so much for the info.

It aint a sorry reason to let someone go. I'm sure JCT is tired of all these drivers getting into wrecks and shut down. Few months ago a truck rolled over in missouri after loading out of noel and he claims his load shifted to cause him to roll (get real) then after that a guy rammed a car cuz he was going too fast and following too close.

we found out after it was more that they did not want anymore drivers from FL right now but all is good i really did not cut the car off it was clear when i pulled out i missed a gear on that sloppy super 10 so then in that time a car came along and they had plenty of time to slow down no slamming of their brakes not going to sit here and bash JCT just wish they would of just called and said they messed up and had to many Fl drivers already

well alan i respect what you have to say but at thesame time another guy could not shift tester had to shift half his gears for him and they say that tailgateing will get you sent home also and he was told that he was tailgating and they said they would let him take the road test again the next day so has i see it they are not consistant on what they enforce one guy could not even walk and barely climb up in the truck as i said in another post we found that they did not really want anymore central FL drivers

I am changing jobs at the end of the month and was thinking of doing the vacation thing, just incase something silly like what happened to you trucker. But weary of not giving 2 weeks notice.
