Got an OOS in IL becaue I was logging line 1 while at shippers. Had been thru 2 or 3 other lvl 2's before that and not one problem did I have. Now i log all shipper time as line 2. Funny thing about it tho, was that for the times I was cited, wasn't even at a shipper. Oh well. I considered it a learning lesson.

Orientation ends sometime today. Started with 5 (2 no shows) and ended with 5. EVERYONE got used trucks (all 2007's), and ALL had Cat engines. Funny thing is, the guy who chooses the trucks to offer heard us talking about our preference to NOT have a CAT. Hmmmmmm, all 5 trucks have them? He suffers from little man syndrom anyway, so will do what needs to be done for 90 days to get another truck. Everything else has been as advertised on the post. Pretty up front about policies, etc...

Kind of odd none of you wanted CATs. I like mine. I keep the rpm low & we go climbing all day, but I might not be set up the same as JCT. Just my opinion, but if you drive it right, I think you will like it.

Shame they couldn't have come up with some Detroit motor for those boys. I love my Cummins but Cat would be my second choice. Personally I don't think they had you pick those trucks because you all didn't want Cat motors just a little to much conspiracy thinking going on there.

Well supppsedly only freightshakers have detroits in them and tulsa freightliner screwed JCT so they aren't gonna get anymore from what I heard. And seeming how CAT don't make engines anymore guess the new trucks will be stuck with cummins.

3 internationals, 1 w9, and 1 t600. Someone turned in a Prostar this morning. He and his wife/girlfriend?, had an emergency and had to leave. He said he liked JCT, but had to leave for the emergency. Truck had only 37,000 miles on it. Got plenty of new Petes in the bull pen, and that is about all. More used trucks getting prepped every day.

My first load will leave Tulsa tomorrow and deliver in Riverside, CA on Monday. 1400 miles to see what I think of the KW-900 I plan on setting the cruise at 60 to 62 and see what the ole girl will do!

They were talking all week about getting some Cascadias in in the near future. Also getting some new trailers with Thermo king, and getting rid of carrier units until the new carrier engine is checked out and all kinks figured out and fixed.
