My belief that JCT is the best has only become strengthened. Later all.
Hey GrizzlyMan, i'm the one that talked with you at the shop later that day with the pete.

WOW sums it up, it got even better later, ask alan

sorry for the delay in responding. be ready to run Excel!!!! i already got almost 2000 miles since i left thursday about midnight from the yard. i'm in cali going to deliver in the morning and be on my way somewhere...

if you don't thru orientation I think swift has an empty truck

vulcan i got a get a few more posts in to pm you but as soon as i do, i will fill you in.

for everyone else, if your not willing to work, be responsible for yourself, and everything else you have already read here, don't do it!
BUT, if you want a company that wants to make it, and will do what ever it takes to help you< (not babysit you, HELP you). this is the place for you. i have so many phone numbers of everyone in the office that all said (to our whole class) "if you have a question, I want you to call me so I can help you".

thanks to all you drivers that answered so many questions for me all along the way, this is the best thing i have ever done!

allright. my apologies. i in no means meant to insult anyone. i was simply stating what i have been around and seen and been told. and everyone has there own wisdom. my own motor had all 6 broken piston rings. (top rings). and i saw the bearings. 275k miles. and the mechanic and truck boss get highly upset when they see black smoke out the exhaust. (indicating lugging). i also stated that i don't claim to know everything. i'm learning just like you all. and thanks to you guys. i now understand why the newer trucks get worse mileage compared to the older trucks. i've also learned a few other things.

i'm just here to learn with the rest of you guys. just becuase what i've seen and been told is different then what you all are seeing and hearing. don't mean i'm unsulting anyone PERIOD. we all have wisdom to pass around. and should be taken as such. not as an insult. we've all had different teachings.

Mev, before this week i wasn't sure if they brainwashed you at orientation because every driver I talked to just loved the company.. I don't know, maybe they do because I feel the same way now..

its not a question of can you run as hard, is a question of can you keep your door shut, and your foot out of it. if you want to run hammer down from truckstop to truckstop I don't think you will last long as all, in fact I'm sure you won't. The dispatcher I have for now has been here for 21 years, so you need to trust that he has a clue of what he's doing.

Good luck bud, but you won't need it unless you piss Javada off. Then I don't think even god can help you. lol
