Working for JCT

Just wanted to leave a quick note. I worked for jct last year and had to leave, because on my hometime my exwife went to jail and i had to get my daughter.(Long story) i coulndt very well take my 12 year old on the road and Jct didnt give me no hassle. i drove my truck back to the trk stop i kept the trailer and they picked it up. 7 weeks later i had a huge deposit in my checking account from jct.... my maintance account. i got everything that was in there. I didnt ask for it or expect it. The 5 months i was there was great wish i was still there. hope to try it agin soon.

I have to agree with you. You read other forums, its all negative, complaining etc. I have been following this thread for awhile now, asked a few questions, always got what seemed to be straight forward honest answers. Believe me when I say that if and when I decide to jump ship and leave the company I work for now, JCT will be my #1 choice and this forum probably is the biggest influence on that.

Choosing a company to work for, based on what you READ !! You are a very trusting soul. How do you know who's posting all that good news, perhaps a recruiter? I'm not putting JCT down, Just trying to make a point. Good Luck !!

Well, I'm far from trusting of anybody. But if you read 200+ pages of posts, it is easy to see that the typical posters are not recruiters. I have spoken to many different drivers, and reading, researching, etc. But typically if you find the employees of a company have good things to say, the company is most likely doing things right. It is just refreshing to see a thread where people tend to be positive about where they work, and don't see alot of negative posts. Not saying there isn't negative posts in this thread, I just seem to think they are more honest. Rarely in this thread does anybody get blasted for what they post or ask, if they do it is usually in jest.

Later,
If u can't tell the difference between a recruiter and a driver u have issues. If you actually read the thread u would notice that never once are we posting selling points of the company. Some of us including me were even nice enough to post our settlement numbers on there. So its fine u don't trust something you read. So my conclusion is that we don't have to worry about u being convinced to work here. Its rather offensive to all drivers that work here currently and help prospective drivers out by answering questions. You basically insulted the ones that started working here after reading this thread and called them stupid for believing something they read.
