Yes, to your question. Javada needs a drug test, and probably some other test too! but she was great to us while we were there. As for driver friendly, keep in mind most of the office people are somehow related, they are friendly but if you have a problem with one of them, you have a problem with the whole family. As for miles, why dont you ask charlie what happens if you refuse a load or even a favor? ANswer, they lure you back to the terminal and fire you! You will do lots of favors especially as a team. Make sure you do not say anything derogatory over the phone. They record all phone calls! I repeat the record all phone calls!!!! Even night dispatch. There are many request down off the qualcomm if you know what I mean.(not dOT friendly) Keep your but covered. For the first month they will run you crazy. They do this with all the new drivers so the maintenace account will build up. You may decide you love JCT, the shop people are excellent, but watch out for the office people. All my wife and I could think of was deliverance!

We got our truck today. There is 30 people in our class. We all walked out and got our trucks. I spotted the truck my wife wanted yesterday. We walked right to it got in it checked it out and went and gave them the number and it is now ours(and JCT's). No hassell, no running, no fighting.
Learning about more charges that were not explained by the recruiter, but were expected. I am not in a position that I need to be tied down to a job, so we can walk away and go home and still live fine. I would not discourage anyone from comming to work here. The only advise I would giveis be ready to work, and you have to be dedicated to your business.

I will say the walk away lease is definitely a plus. I would never buy a truck, and leasing can really bind you up with a company. When we left JCT there was no problems with getting out of the lease. To this day we haven't received any outrages back charges and we are hoping it stays this way. In the end they were more than honest with our last settlements they owed us. I believe all complaining aside, that was important. If you don't mind me asking what kind of truck did you end up with?

2007 Freight-Shaker Classic XL
Cat C-15
13 speed
We chose this because of the room, and storage space. We were in a 2007 KW at the last company. Not designed for team driving. We were running at least 6400 miles a week at the last company, so we are used to moving down the road. If we can keep running at least 5500 miles a week for JCT, we will be OK

Well they got us home for a day like I had asked. We did not ask for Turkey day off, but my wife will come off the truck Dec 10th to the 30th, I will run solo till the 24th and go back the 30th. So far looks good.
Total payment is $825.00 a week for 40 weeks then drops down to $715.00. Fuel surcharg paid loaded and MT. I have 2 friends that come here 3 weeks ahead of me, and they are running a lot of miles

LMB, sounds like your off to a good start. Just put a little aside because they run all the new drivers like crazy to build up the maintenance fund. Not sure if you have received a pay check yet, but make sure you keep detailed records for yourself, to compare to pay info. Their pay info on the qualcomm can be vague. Also keep an eye on your fuel surcharge, and mileage. I don't think its done on purpose but we were always short on fsc pay, which they would put on the very next check. Check your payroll online it us a little more detailed. As for your truck I hope you had a good experience with the shop guys, they were always A+. Make sure to check in with Royce everytime you have a service, he will print you out your truck vitals and go over them with you. This is crucial to make sure your fuel mileage is good. You said FRGHT classic right? You should be able to do at least 6.0 a mile. Once they start running you back and forth on I-10 you should do good with fuel. Its also cheaper. Good luck, if you got questions let me know.
