Cat Who has gone on the road with their husband or significant other?

I went on the road for 6 weeks this past summer with my significant other. I had so much fun. Can't wait for next year to do it again. I live in Florida, so some of the mountain roads scared me, especially Donner Pass at 2am.

I found that the end of August through mid-September was the best time. Montana was actually cold which was nice.

Cat

I don't drive, even though he would love it if I did...but I don't think I could drive some of that terrain. Also, I can't drive at night that well, because I can't see. I do miss him so much when he's gone. He'll be home for Thanksgiving and I can't wait. I work full time when he's gone, so that makes a difference. Maybe someday I'll quit work and go on the road with him.

I picked up my currant YL hitchhiking in new Jerkski almost 13 years ago, she rode with me in the truck for 8 years, then went to work for the company I was driving for as a dispatcher. On Friday she came to Massachusetts with our cat and spent the weekend with me and rode back home. It was great to have her back in the truck.

I drove for Panther Expedited with my wife. I loved it. We made good money and actually had a lot of fun.

i drive with my better half and we have a blast, even though sometimes the job gets a little nuts. she enjoys the sceneries, mountains and we enjoy being together 24/7.
she's going to get her cdl in jan or feb and we plan on teaming after that, i wish i had her all those years ago it would have been much better, guaranteed.
we also have our truck pup with us and she keeps us busy.....

If it was 20 years ago, I wouldn't hesitate to team drive, but not now. I get nervous driving my SUV on the interstate, so no way could I drive a semi. But, I sure enjoyed being with him all that time.
