Hope that helps

Thanks for the reply. Do you have any idea how long the hiring freeze might last. I realize that you don't have a crystal ball, but would appreciate a rough guesstimate.

I believe/hope that Clark State Community College in Springfield Ohio is an approved school. At least one of the recruiters thinks so... Info was left there. Sure hope so as Crete is at the top of my three carrier picks.

We're telling everyone to check back in a couple months. I'll be sure to post something when it changes.

Yup, it is. You can put your app in before you graduate if you want to find out if you are pre-approved.

personally i think i would wait till about a month before you go to school. from what i hear crete really gives your app a good going over with a fine tooth comb. but getting a pre hire letter is a very good idea.

I was in school in December but had to put the finishing weeks on hold due to a family emergency. I won't be going back until mid March and should be done with all of it early to mid April. I think you're right about the going over with the fine tooth comb, doing it now might be a good idea. Thanks.

Most welcome. I had been told that by several schools and differant drivers as well that they really look over the apps closely. As a matter of fact i have one in front of me as i speak and am contemplating filling it out and sending it in now so maybe by the time the slow down reverses course, then would be an appropriate time for me to try to get on with them.

Emte...

Have you looked at their site? Tells a lot about the company and the way the dispatch is set up. It's got an application on it too.
