from what I have seen there are all kinds that show up at different oreintations. At the Swift school in San Antonio I watched two men go out in the parking lot and light one up. We were standing on the balcony talking and I got to noticing that they were passing a cig back and forth. There was no doubt in my mind what they were doing, I mean most people don't share a smoke unless they are extremely broke or its a joint. Sure enough the next day they were sent home. This was the first day and they should have known there would be a drug test the next day! Like I said you meet all kinds. Bad thing is they will probably find a company that will put them on the road.

Terrylamar.... I know what your talking about and I do need to get back into working out. I'm still in pretty decent shape but I could be better. I don't really expect to much trouble lifting the tarps. I work on atv's here at my house and Lifting a 130 pound engine out of a fram and putting it on a work bench is no problem. Thanks for all the good advice everyone.

If they can verify your exp with a flatbed than you go through a 3 day orientation and away you go. You have to have a really clean mvr and a good saftey record to get a 3 day at TMC.

Well my last violation was 6+ years ago and it was cause the trucks owner didn't have a current yearly DOT done. Other than that nothing on my record. No log violations no OOS's nothing. So whatever that would mean to them. But thinking of applying there. I sold my company and the old boss I went back to is about to hang it up so I'm looking for a stable option.
