Yes they only run flats. You get paid by percentage based on your performance anywhere between 23%-32%. Benefits are good. Miles might be low this time of year but after winter they always go up. It's solo only. Yes you have to take ur truck home. Hope this helps.

yes that does help thank you. since i have otr experience (student with crst will be off contract in april) i should just have to take their flat-bedding course right? i don't mind going through another class or 2 i just don't want to have to do another 1 month student course. i don't mind hard work and if the pay is good and your home on the weekends then its sounding better and better to me. i was told u can do mileage or percentage pay. im thinking percentage would be better but i have no clue on that.
-
Thanks 4 the info on TMC. I was wondering what your pay was like, and how your
miles R. I was considering Melton and Ive been reading the mixed reports of other
drivers. Some good, some not so good.
How do you think they compare , if you know? -
I just finished truck driving school and looking Hard at TMC. I hear they are one of the best to get flat bed experience. My biggest concerns are do you really get most weekends at home, and what can I actually expect to bring home with TMC or any company, for that Matter? Any info or advice would be greatly apreciated!

Every weekend is a longshot.Worked for them for almost two years.
-
Their website says 46 out of 52 for flatbed - was that close to what you experienced Ctank? -
my brothers stepdad has been with tmc for like 30 years and he has nothing but nice things to say about the company. now does tmc ONLY run flatbed? this not seem a little ODD.
-
I have been with TMC since April 2, 2010 so far it has been a pretty good company. My average bring home pay has been around $700 after insurance, 401k, etc. Sometimes higher some lower. I picked the % program and it seems to be the right choice.
As far as hometime I don't have a good answer. They say they can get ya home but I choose to stay out 2-3 weeks at a time. With it being winter things have slowwed a bit, but not horribly.
hope this helps, Gator -

Well both really
1) BROTHERS STEPDAD , would he not be his STEPDAD as well
2) If STEPDAD was with TMC for like 30 YEARS would he not be the guy to ask about FLATBEDS ONLY .
