Pay Scale

The reason Heartland pays more is there runs are alot like JB short in nature. Look around for some Heartland post

I ran solo with IDC and the pay was and still is LOW, but if the money isnt an issue then you could enjoy driving an automatic and a truck loaded with a few extras. I personaly couldnt make any money with them as a solo driver, good luck with your decision.

IDC is more set and geared for teams. They have a very low safestat score, so you dont get bothered by d.o.t much at all. heartland, from what I have been able to findout, is more regional with short mile runs thats why pay is so high and it depends on what region yo run as well. found that when the pay is higher, its due to less mile a wk then other companies, but in the end, your weekly is the same as if you ran 3500 a wk for .34 cpm for example. hope this helps. looking at companies can and is tough and time consumeing.

Idc has well equipped trucks. Teams do pretty well solo's get the left over loads. No layover, no detention pay. No money!!!

My old friend drivers for Heartland and heres what I know:

There runs are short and good luck if you are on Florida regional; the miles lack there, so home time is not an issue
They are cutting back (theres an article on here somewhere)
Once you get in Texas, you will be ran in that state for about 1-2 weeks
Pay is good if you get the miles

Hey king

I posted the article on HEARTLAND about a week ago

HEARTLAND TO DOWN SIZE BY ATTRITION

I have a freind whom drives there in the OLIVE BRANCH Regional and he is home about 3 days a week any doing good to get 1600 miles per week He is looking said they are parking trucks on the FENCE when drivers quit and not HIRING to fill trucks said last week at his terminal alone there was about 20-25 trucks sitting MT ..

The verdict is out but I have obseved allot of HLAND trucks in truck stops sitting dont know if they are loaed or what but allot sitting for sure...

Just my 2 cents
