to them, where you live matter allot....they try hard to get you home weekends....so it's real important.

When they stopped hiring they put some on the road. I saw tim up in gary. There was another new instructor and I think they put him on the road as well.

Merge

I pass by Maverick HQ at Little Rock quite often in my new OTR job with Tango Transport. I had NEVER seen so many Mav trux parked until recently. When I commented on the CB abt it, another driver came back and said TMC is the same way, with hundreds of brand new rigs parked waiting on the economy to kick back in2 gear. If u got a good gig, stick with it, it pays the bills.

Those are not new trucks. Those are 2005's that are for sale. They are turning them in.

I talked to a recruiter. about 2 weeks ago. He told me the big wheels have a meeting on Friday's to discuss how many to hire and what area they need them from. told me I was in when they were able to hire from my area.

So it is going to be hit or miss on getting hired, till the economy comes back around. And where you live does matter, because they try to get you home for the weekends if they can. Recruiter seemed to be very honest and straight with me. Hope this info helps you out.
