they pay a bonus $100 per month for low idle hours. low is scaled to the temp where you are parked. this means like 5% or less idle time if its 70, 50% if its below 32 or over 80. I can't remember the exact figures but I never had a problem getting the bonus. trucks are governed at 68 and 72 mph. If you've been hammering it all day its 68... if you ease off and your fuel mileage goes over 6.5 the computer automatically resets the gov to 72mph. its against company policy to run over 65... so I don't know how I know this since I never broke company policy Also you get a $100.00 per month fuel mileage bonus. never had a problem getting this either... and on the issue of bonuses you also get $100.00 for not wrecking the truck..that's $300.00 per month extra. |

I thought the three bonuses were paid in .01 cent per mile, not 100$ a month? |

monthly is important. THINK ABOUT IT!!!! some companies pay quarterly bonuses. this means you can be a good boy for 2 months 3weeks and six days and lose your bonus on one uh-ohh... TA paid monthly whic means that uhohh would only cost you a third of a bonus. I was paid short route but they said it was going practical. you need to ask a recruiter or refer to the company website... but with so many ads out from others paying practical I bet ta is also by now. |

they are all hurting for quality stick to it employees... and your gonna have a buukie load of turn-over finding them. I'm honestly not sure that paying more would solve the problem either, probably make it worse because then you'd really have the roaches crawling out of the cupboards. Pay and turnover is probably why they scale pay... costs alot to train and they can't honestly tell who will tough it out... so the longer you stay in the industry the more you are worth as a proven commodity. think half the reason swift has its turnover is because they accept anyone figuring to work till they quite. they are the joke of the industry... but they got guys been there 20 years and plenty happy also... they've just had to weed thru more people to get to the good ones is all. |

The site and all the info says you get three one cent bonuses. Recruiters says it's 100$ a month because you'd probably drive 1000 miles a month, equaling an approximately 100$ |

| physical Ok, I'm set up to go to Scottsburg January 7th. I'm scared and excited. Going from what I used to make to 700-800$ a week is like "too good to be true." Anyone have info on the physical? |
