| ecano, In this business you shouldn't think. Its either I can do it or I can't. Look at the crete forum in "Favorite company" and ask how many mile they are getting per week. For lease ops, ask Thumper a guy who leases a truck from Trans Am. Finally, ask Jess in the central truckstop thread on how many miles JJ (her fiance) is getting. In the end, its up too you; however in this economy, I would go company first reguardless of having a good business background. Leases only benefit the company who leases the truck to you. If you can, try to get on with John Christner Trucking. They have a more attractive lease program as well as Schneider National. KH

| Thumper doesn't work for TA anymore and his buddies that were there with him are gone also. You will NOT make money as a LO with TA. Am a company driver with them myself and have talked to 4 of them that were quitting this week. One had 14 yrs experience and another had 10. My trainer says he makes less than a company driver does and is heading to JCT. Talked to a JCT driver at the KW dealership Friday, he only had a few minutes. Miles for hime were over 5000 a week for the last couple of weeks. Hope this helps some. |
