ibcalm all I can tell you is, I have a 42 year old family man that just came to work for me, He has a 14 year old truck that was not road worthy and wanted to get back into his own business. He signed on with CRST Malone and their lease purchase plan, they informed him that the first 52 weeks of his lease the equipment would have a bumper to bumper warranty. Then later in the agreement they laid claim to charging him 0.12 cents a mile for the first 52 weeks to pay for the upkeep and maintenance of his leased truck. ??? Do you see a double sided sword there ?? I do, To make things worse he was told by the fleet manager that when he delivered in Long Beach that she would reload him back out of Los Angeles for a real good rate and fuel surcharge. WHen the gentlemans settlement hit his bank it did not match the information his fleet manager gave him that was the factor in him accepting that load. (Can you say selective memory) Because when he brought it to light then the fleet manager could not recall telling him that information. ( I say do your research and for any LP Driver to tell you they are doing great and always have since with CRST Malone ask them to show you their paperwork. For one the flatbed industry has its up and downs just like any other industry so to make claim to never having a rough period in itself is bull) Do your research and anyone not willing to give you the information you request, then you better walk away. I know my driver is serious to the information I am sharing, that is why he has informed me that upon contact with me he will be more then happy to share all paperwork and information he has in regards to CRST Malone

A way to tell how the company of your dreams will be is to ask for a copy of the contract to let your lawyer to go over, and if they drecline then that tells you all you need to know! You won't waste gas or greyhound time to find out!
