Wylie and Daily to it out of other parts of the country. ATS, Combined, Wilhelm and Turner from Houston are doing it out of the NorthWest. I've seen some smaller outfits but I believe they are brokering them from ATS.

One More Thing... "Randy" All the companies mentioned by the other drivers are good. Flatbed time is critical, but anytime you can get ANY specialized load, take it!! Most of these companies will have a one or two day class in load securement, Hazmat or other specialized flatbed training (some without pay).

i see these being hauled everyday on my dedicated route---i will try to identify the company 4U next week. These are some pretty long Mfing trailers---i had no idea they were that big. P.S. Come to think of it, actually i notice that there is quite a bit of "oversized/specialty" stuff being hauled right now even with the slow economy. We should look into this?

If you're not involved in it already (OD), you're too late unless you're getting broker loads. Everybody and their brother is hauling OD now, and ####### it out as well. Wind is tough to get into. We're partnering with developers and OEM's directly, and bypassing the ATS's and other brokers. But, if you haven't been doing that by now, stick with the broker route, because the industry it too hush-hush to get into unless someone knows who you are and what you can do.
