If you're talking about the Coleman that's $90-110 at most truck stops and at Walmart in the summer, those coolers aren't worth the energy used to create them.

My co-driver and I went through 4 in 5 months. The cord kept melting down, at the end or where the fuse is. It didn't keep food very cold either.

I would suggest any cooler that has a detachable cord. If you step on the plug end, or it melts, you can buy a replacement cord and not have to be monkeying with the wiring while all your food gets warm.

There's one guy who's a security officer or something that drives on weekends. He's really hit or miss because half the time he's watching tv, or playing on the computer, or doing whatever.

I really hate taking the shuttle on the weekends, it just seems like it keeps getting worse.

Not a regular one, the big one!!
My mouth is watering just thinking about it, yummmm.
I see all these new guys and it makes me wish at times I was a trainer. But then I come back to reality and remember that I would rather not go to the west coast, and that to train properly it is important to hit at least several large mountain ranges. So, it will not happen. I just love teaching about things I love.
I was a ski instructor for 7 years because of that.
Good luck.
OK where do I find it LOL Hey Chromedome is it true the trainer needs to pay for the motel cause I spent 4 days in one down in Del Rio TX. via my pocket my trainer has a G/F there did his his H/T there. I will talk to someone tomaro cause it cost me $ 130.00.

I was told that in Orentation, it was asked by a student, and that is what the training person told us. I would check if I were you, though it is possibly too late now.
Let me check my old training folder too, I think it was in there.

He found a study book there last night and was reading it. Just figured i'd let you know he made it through day 1. Hope Dragon finally got a trainer and checks in soon.

All it says in the manual is that if the trainer needs time off that they must make arrangements for you with there DM or training cord.
It was a training cord. that told us that the trainer must pay for a hotel room though.
Hopefully you get it. I hate seeing trainers take advantage of trainees. Mine went too his house one night, I decided to be nice and stay in the truck. He had parked it in a small shopping center parking lot, and said he would be back first thing in the morning.
He was not back till 10am. I had to walk a good mile from there at 3am to find a bathroom. It did not happen again.

The Mexican guy comes in about 2130 or so. His camper/ kitchen is in the lot all the time. It does not leave. All his food is good, but his burrito is to die for.

His idea was 4 nights in the truck and not at the G/F house the bathroom at taco bell was close but where was the shower I'll look for the guy I see his truck so he'll be here soon an hour or so.

I would talk to the head of training tomorrow.
The hard part now will be finding who approved him to be there with you in the truck.
Also, those 4 days counted towards your training period. Since you are done with training and I hope seated in a truck, they cannot send you back out for 4 more days. I have seen that happen though, when a student had not upgraded yet. They complained about being stuck sitting at the trainers house, and those days had to be redone.
So have you gotten a truck yet? If so is it a newer one or older? I am still waiting for my fleet manager to pull strings and get me in a 2009.
He said they were for trainers and teams first, then drivers that had been here longer. SO I hope I can weasel into one. I want a white truck darnit lol.
Tired of this hot, impossible to keep clean, black thing.
