| It is an over-mileage fee that is put on so that the truck doesnt depreciate faster than the payments are being made. In the end, if you decide to buy the truck it is an excellent program. If you decide to just lease, then you lose all the equity. It really is a good deal if you decide to buy the truck outright when your lease is up. |

He knew about the over milage deal before he decided to sign the Lease, but as someone said in an earlier post Central do charge for a lot of knick knacky things, QC $22 and some change every week and a few other things, The Central Lease is set up for you to pay the truck of for them and make some ok money yourself. Obviously the L/O's who do the best are trainers and or Teams, .85 CPM all miles driven and 100% fuel surcharge on Loaded miles, no surcharge on dead head miles.

| Yes, but if you don't buy the truck they keep it and it goes to the next guy. Basically who ever buys that truck gets the benefits of you paying for it. This is also why central's leases are shorter than other companies. |

| How long is centrals lease on a new pete. Also how much money are we talking about making on a solo lease? I'm not for teaming or training too much risk for me |
| ||||
| Hi Jess-juju, you are right about them not accepting students from other schools. I was also told that by the recruiters. |
| |||
| Maybe look into something used then. Centrals truck payments with everything included(insurance, permits, road taxes etc...) run about 1000 dollars a week.Plus fuel. It is steep for a single driver (but can be done) I think you have to run about 2500 miles to break even. Anything over that and you start making money.Anything under that and your owner op days are limited. I strongly recommend you try one of their short term leases first. They are 6 months to a year. |
