Well in 1 week Im at Papco LLC out of Bridgeton NJ 1 year. Overall I coulnt ask for much more out of a trucking company. I can tell their taking CSA 2010 serious, no issues with getting the truck repaired when needed, not there ever was, but I could hear them say "lets get it fixed, it's not worth a voiolation or an out of service". After a year I still get respect from the dispatchers. Once and a while if Im asked to work a sat and I cant and I say "I would but I cant". Theres no issue, I dont feel I'll get the "screw him" treatment. Also they keep their word, I worked out a couple of "personal wants" with them and they kept their word. I was givin a newer truck this year. I was hoping for a new one but maybe next year. I got a 2008 pete, 13 speed with a c15 with 220,000 miles. Not new but super clean and real nice shape. From what I hear out there in the trucking world, I have great gig. Planty of work, good money, I work for nice people. Its a two way street, I help them with what ever I can, I step up to the plate 8 maybe 9 times out of 10 when asked. But they return the favor. So overall, its great. I dont see me going anywhere for a long time.

I'm interested in papco. I see them around alot. I've spoken with drivers and it seems they're like alot of other companies, if you show that you're willing to work and do a good job they keep you busy and take care of you. As far as OT after 52 hrs, I know companies that don.t pay any OT no matter how many hrs you work. I've OTR for 38 years, 25 on tankers, and you have to use alot of common sense and get used to taking the good with bad. Anybody out there that can give me any info about papco please post. I'm not looking for local work. Thanks.

U need to have ur hazmat and twic card before they will process ur app, and u would either have to go up to their term in nj to fill out a app or have them mail u one .

To the OP, if that's the case which 52 straight time ain't bad, I'd be hitting the boss up after getting back "got something around here to keep me busy?"

Thanks for the reply. I've got my TWIC and passport. I've run all 48 states and Canada. Don't like making changes but, with all these new reg's and this CSA you kind of have to check around for what you think might be better for you. Still to many companies out there that don't want to hear about not having enough hours and you have to pretty much fight to get things done on your truck.
