Is cre right for you!!

Bout 3 yrs ago I decided to be a OTR trucker but needed a way to make better money than just being a solo driver.I went to the ever so bashed company of CR England and OMG!!!!!I felt like a dog at a circus show jumping through hoop after hoop.First was all the info they cram down your eyes, ears and throat. Then all the back, forth, sideways and such in the yard.well at this point I got my very own card that said I was now allowed to get behind the wheel of 80,000lb slow ### rocket and play god, deciding who would live another day as cars went pass me ever so mad that I was in there way.I was clearly on my way to learning things that people just don't realize till they experience it.shower every coupla of days, miles and miles of movement everyday.stuffed in a freightliner box with someone I did not know for a month.then more hoops at the school.they call this part solo upgrade. Now off we go with another person for another month to do the same ole, same ole.FINALLY AFTER 3 MONTHS AND A ZILLION HOOPS,,,THIS DOG GETS HIS VERY OWN SLIGHTY USED,COMPLETELY ABUSED,BIG RED TRUCK!!!!!!

Lets back up a sec here.....Pay to CRE for this was $1995.00..first month out on the road I got paid $60 a day to live on.(hmmmm, had I gone to a community college I would of paid 4k to 6k and got no OTR xp)
Second month on the road I got 11cents a mile averaging 5500 miles a week.

Now I signed a lease for a year and got $500 plus they now reimbursed the loan payment so I no longer had to pay the $1995 to them.

I took a second seat with me straight out the gate and completely new to this game.(CRE must be absolutely nuts to let me do this) but there I was top man in my new business.

Holy ####!!!guess what happened? you guessed it,right back to the same ole, same ole..only this time my 2nd seat was getting the 11cents a mile and after fuel, lease, insurance, variable, fuel tax, driver legal, accounting and 17%saved back for quarterly My first check was $1364.38!!!!!

6 months later I took a 4day class on babysitting at CRE school and recieved the title of TRAINER.(man oh man CRE is totally whacked,6months????I'm still new as hell at this and i now i get to show others what i've learned so far!!!)Now i get more money cuz I only pay a few bucks a day to my student and CRE pays them the rest.My first check was $2127.49.

so let me have it drivers.Call me an idiot with no xp.Call me all the sad names and voice all your opinions as you like.Ive heard em all I'm sure from 30yr carreer drivers to the new as me.
Bottom line is,,,I don't worry about how much money I make CRE or how much they may be ripping me off or how much better it is on the other side of the fence.I dont squabble about having to work so hard out here.(actually this the easiest thing I've ever done.I been labor, carpenter.roofer and so forth all my life).i don't worry about not having so much time off or having a normal life.
YOU SEE,I'LL BE OFF THE ROAD IN LESS THEN HALF THE TIME THEN MOST DRIVERS AND WITH MUCH MORE GOLD BEING AS I DON'T TAKE THE TIME TO SPEND IT.I THINK OF MY DISTANT FUTURE INSTEAD OF TOMORROW OR NEXT WEEK,,,,I SIMPLY DO AS THEY AS CRE SAYS
TAKE CONTROL.REACH GOALS.DRIVE LIFE!!!!
So if you not a pissy whiner and and don't mind getting out of your comfort zone then maybe CRE is right for you after all.
hope I don't offend anyone but if I do,,well,,get over it already as life is too short.Be safe all and arrive early....

Sure, some people have to be able to make it on a lease. That way, CRE can point to him, and say, "There's a success story, go ask him if he likes the company!"
