Burlington got bought out by Celedon in 02. I went there after leaving m.s. It happened during orientation. The trucks we so raggedy. As for M.S. it was the best company I ever drove for as a company guy.

My truck 16160. M.S. carriers was the best company ever. I was making .35 per mile dedicated plus $100 every time I went to Nyc which was a few times during the week. It was the only company that payed .30 pm out the gate while others were paying .23-.27 cpm. We got paid extra for FedEx though you had to run it straight through. O/O and company drivers were like family. If we saw each other we run together if we went to the same place or on the same route for a while. When swift came in. It was dooms day. I never seen so many trucks get parked at one time. Memphis had so many trucks parked at one time in my life. Freightliner, days Inn and everyone had a truck when drivers quit. I heard the owner ops got jerked. A few made it and got their trucks paid for. I know of a few. Idk if they're still in the game but they were good guys. #TheGoodDays. If anyone know Russ Hess tell him Calvin Leak said hello. That was my trainer
