I was just thinking that I really miss driving for M.S. Carriers. Why did they have to sell out. I made good money and had good miles from them back in the day. I looked at some old pay stubs and realized. I made more money then, then I do now.

My first job with an O/O, he got $1.25 a mile, fuel was .69 a gallon, and all he did was ##### about the rates. We ran dedicated...paid both ways.
Now these folks think .87 a mile and a piddly #### FSC is gravy.Oldironfan Thanks this. -
back in the early 80's fuel spiked to $1 a gallon and we were freakin out
Oldironfan Thanks this. -
My best times trucking were with MS Carriers. I would go back to that group in a heart beat if they were still around. Treated very well, good DMs, drivers, etc.
