I can't wait to see that thread. I am curious to see what they say. I know some others who did the program, but were not OTR and still made a killing.

I got hired with hills as a utility driver but didn't really start driving because I got respitory infection and my doctor gave me a week medical LOA.After a week I still wasn't any better so I thought it was best I quit.I think I would have really liked the company had I gave it a chance but hard telling at the time when id get better. My infection lasted 3 weeks.Only thing I didn't like was their elogs.Hard to figure out.Would have rather have elogs that were basic.I loved the trk they issued me.I don't have anything bad to say about the company or people.

Like I said I drove for them for over a year on the Utility side in a daycab and was home nightly. I worked mainly in Lincoln in the morning shuttling trailers and spotting loads for other drivers then made some short runs here and there. my only complaint was the health coverage for company drivers. I left to my previous job for major medical health insurance, and never gave the lease program much thought. L/P drivers i know get major medical coverage which from what I can see is about as good as I get now for not much difference in cost. I do miss driving the big trucks and HB has mostly pretty good people. Been seriously considering going back, just want some more info on the L/P from some driver who have done it through them on the OTR side.

He's doing good with the L/P side, has a 780 with an automatic gets real good fuel economy. Wants to get 6 months into it before posting any numbers but he averages over 1300$ a week. (Take home) gonna see if I can talk him into posting sooner we'll see......

Hill Bros now offers Major Medical Health Insurance to it's company drivers. So I was excited to see that and will likely go back to them. I already called them and I am apparently more than welcome back. They really treated me pretty good and can't really complain too much about them.
daywalker24 Thanks this. -
