Well I'm empty, and got all my preplans for the next few days. I got to my delivery this morning and saw 15 flatbeds all lined up with the same product I had in my dry van. This was not looking good. I checked in and as they were staging the flatbeds for unloading in the middle of the parking lot, they had me back into the loading dock. I was done in about 15 minutes and all the flatbeds were done soon after. I walked to the Dunkin Donuts in the shopping center and watched about 5 forklifts do their deal and have all of them empty while I was enjoying my coffee and glazed stick donut. Not bad. Maybe I should pull flatbed.

Just as I was about to leave all my preplans came across the computer. As I was reading them Louie called and told me I was getting 2 PO's, one for driver assist unload, and one for layover because my next reload doesn't load until 11am tomorrow. That was very nice on his part. This is the first time since I first started here that I won't be home for a weekend other than when I go to California.

I load in Danville KY and unload as soon as I get to Lancaster PA, then I reload Sunday Morning in Springfield VA and drop my first drop Sunday evening in Gastonia NC, then 2 in Atlanta Monday morning. After that I have a drop in Lakeland FL Tuesday morning then Deerfield Beach Fl around noon on Tuesday. After that I drive 22 miles to the house and will reload Friday. So far so good.

I shut down at the 44 mile marker on I 30 in Ark. last night. I got up this morning and delivered in Little Rock at 7 am, 2 drops in Memphis, Tn by 10:45 and Nashville by 2:45. I then headed to the T/A in Franklin for a shower and made it to 299 mile marker in Al. just south of Cullman. I have 2 more stops in Birmingham and I should be empty by 8 in the morning. Hopefully I wil be home next weekend as I have been out since the first. Otherwise everything is good. Be safe everyone.
Glad to see everthing is going good for you. Are you doing a NY Times load?

    Hi Johnboy

I Finished orientation monday it was just how you described. a few log issues held me to a few hours driving time Monday. This was cleared up tuesday and I ended friday with 2,600 miles. I have a 5:00am Monday at Mckesson in Orlando. do we no longer need comchecks for the lumpers there?

Gotta love winters in the north east.

Is it windy enough for you? I live on top of a mountain about 60 miles north of Williamsport, and I thought the house was going to blow away last night. Temp was up near 60 yesterday and now they are calling for snow on monday
