Thank you for the kind words and well wishes John. I will probably see y'all every now and then around the "other" Calex yard er, I mean the Petro, since my new company gets through there every so often and, has a terminal over in Parker (just south of Elmlenton off I-81 exit 42).

I'm just taking my break a few miles short of Port Huron/Narnia now, heading into Canada to unload by Toronto tomorrow afternoon with a load coming out of S. Chicago, then will probably bounce down to Parker to swap this dirty tank for a clean one. This is a very nice run to start things off with because even including all of my deadhead miles back to PA (paid % here for driving) it's gonna work out very nicely, and then all the hourly pay I received Mon, Tues, and earlier this morning. No, not going to post it (my pay) in your thread and cause issues because most probably wouldn't believe it or may get aggravated, especially since I'm still just a mere company driver!

Anyway, from PA I will most likely reload heading down towards Miami since I've got some much needed and deserved time off coming up. Wouldn't be surprised if it's the same run I did years ago with Superior Carriers, just paying more lol. Have a great night!

I'm home. Only for a few hours though. I have to be in Pittston Monday and Tuesday to get my Federal inspection done on my truck, a complete service and yet another new windshield, then be ready for my run on Wednesday.I have to drop my reefer at our customer in Greenville SC tonight, pick up an empty dry van then load in the morning in Statesville NC going to Pittston for Sunday at noon. This was planned a few weeks ago so I knew I would be spending 3 nights in Pittston. I have to take both my high maintenance Labs for a swim, take a nap then leave about 1pm.

Sitting at the Petro up the street from the yard. Dropped my trailer at Lowe's at 2pm. I had what I thought was a major problem with my i-phone. All my apps, my icons and all my data was super-sized on my screen. I couldn't use anything on the phone. The only thing I could do was use my headset to voice command a phone call. I got mine and my wifes i-phones for Christmas and a service plan on both phones that cost's me $14.95 per month for each phone. My wife already used her's for a new phone when she dropped it in a puddle of water during a rain storm back in April. I've never seen a woman abuse a phone like my wife, she treats her phone like it's a throw away phone, not one that would cost almost $500 to replace. Me, my phone looks like it just came out of the box, not a knick, scratch or dent on it. In fact, I make a point of cleaning my phone every day. That's why when my phone went south today I hit the panic button.

I went to Best Buy where I bought it and had the Geek Squad look at it, no help. I went to an AT&T store to only be told that I would have to leave it. Then I called Apple customer support to be told it's out of warranty and they would have to charge me for it. So what did I do? I got to the truckstop, asked on the CB if anyone had an i-phone, and did they have the same issue I did. Low and behold, a driver came back and asked me if I had a bluetooth headset parred with the phone. I said yes, he told me to disconnect the set from the phone and re-introduce it. I did and bingo, all fixed.

I didn't need to call into a call center in India and speak to Michael or Jim with a distinct Indian accent, didn't need to send it in to be fixed, all I had to do was ask a truck driver, amazing. And here I thought all we knew what to do was hold a steering wheel.

Don't ya just love modern technology John? At times I'll have issues with my Droid 4 forgetting what 4G LTE is and it wants to stay 3G lol. Simple fix that always gets it working is switching "Airplane" mode on for about a minute, then back off. No idea how or why, but it gets back on track quick!

Next time tap 3 fingers at same time on different parts of the screen about 5 times. iPods do the same thing.

Thanks for the concern Steve. My wife took some pictures around the house today. Of course with me sitting in Pittston while the 12 inches of rain was falling home is all my fault....lol These were taken mid day and it only got worse. My home is built on a raised lot so the water never reached the house. The only concern we had was the pool overflowed onto my patio a little so my wife was outside in the rain hooking up the hundred foot hose to the pump to drain about a foot out of the pool. Too much water in a built in pool like this can cause it to crack. Needless to say I got an ear full.

The first picture shows my street flooded, the water now is up to my walkway. The second one is the pool over flowing. The third one is the lake behind my house, the shore line is usually about twenty feet past the left palm. Now it's right up to my fence line.
