Congrats on getting thru it. Hopefully in a month or so, I'll be doing the same thing.
Warpd ---ya tell me about it ---- I went thinking it was a get in n get out test and it turned out to be a grunt and sweat-- I talked to Cristy at w/s and she seemed to think that the crouch test was suppose to be just that, crouch and stay, but nontheless there was still alot of squatting with the 40 - 70- 10 and no weights squats. hope all is good

Hi Znine- the hearing and sight were down on the medical exam, the HPE test does cover the knees, shoulders, back, etc, and before the tests they asked if there were any problems with, kness, back or whatever - and during the tests he continually asked after each round if I needed to rest but because I am Superman !!!! I declined...lol- I suppose if you have someone has those problems then they wont test you for it -- but then if you dont pass w/s prolly will pass u by. but who knows. I think the crouch test was not suppose to be squats but the preprinted list he had is what he was going off of. Now i guess I will go climb a mountain....lol

*bump* I guess since no one's been posting in this thread, all the WS drivers made it home for Christmas and have better things to do. Guess that says something about my life...

Things going well Lynch..I'm getting the itch myself to get out there. I start school in 3 weeks tomorrow.

I am a little worried about the HPE test that SBD had to take though....it's not like I've heard. Wonder if WS changed it? Seems like an awful lot of squats and such to me, but I'm gonna be hitting the gym as I can. I still want to be at WS more than anything at the moment, so it will be worth it.

Have fun on the road when you get out there, Lynch. Talk soon. I may be emailing you soon with some questions about orientation and such. By the way, have you heard from Roxy lately? I emailed her last week and got no answer, which is highly unusual for her. Hopefully she was taking the Christmas week off....

I finished the 10 day class. I'm in Dalton Ga waiting for the shop to finish putting in a new pass. seat. I drove team from MT to California to Arkansas back to myrtle, ms and then to GA last night. I for assigned an 05 freight shaker. At least I made some money getting to my rig.

School was good, Mark Dick and kelby are tough with ten dayers. Make sure you know how to shift and drive around tight right hand turns. They only sent one guy home which I felt bad for him.

I loved the steep grade driving training, real useful information to have.

Hopefully I'll be able to follow this thread more that I'm out of school.
