Maverick, on the road now

I left 2 weeks ago for orientation.

orientation was 4 days Sun/wed then we went into the barn to learn securement that lasted from wed to wed. they throw a lot at you but if you have common sense its not that bad.

I was down in little rock AR for everything and they have a nice place down there. They have there own hotel on the yard not bad if you ask me.
you will not have a TV in your room, lol

I got assigned a truck in Gary IN and left out Thurs morning for gary IN we got there at 4:30 PM and I saw my truck. I was surprised that it was clean.

I spent that night in the truck and Friday morning I got a load to take me home

I went to Us Steal and got a single coil weighting 49,000 LBS tarpped it and was on my way.

so far I have liked what Maverick have to offer and plan on sticking with them for a while

I will be running dedicated for them from Detroit MI to toronto Cananda

Thanks for the report Aggie, best of luck to you at Maverick. As a dedicated driver if you have no freight to pull for the customer does Maverick try to find something to do until the customer has something?

TX is a black hole for them. The drivers I know from TX are in the long haul div. Not sure if they are hiring from there anymore.
