The Truckers for a Cause chapter of A. W. A. K. E. will be hosting a conference call with folks from ResMed to discuss their new S-9 CPAP on Thursday February 24 7:00 PM central time.

We are interested in many of the features this new CPAP has as it relates to being able to be used easily in the sleeper berth of a semi-truck.

We are hoping to hear from folks that have had experience actually using this unit as it is new.

If you are a new S-9 user we really want to hear from you either on the call or post your experiences here.

The S-9 has just come on the market so you would have to gotten it as your CPAP sometime after April 2010. If you are not sure what model ResMed CPAP you have check the ResMed site or PM me.

You can find the call details, phone number, and access codes at awake.truckersforacause.com

    Thanks
    Bob Stanton

I was upgraded to the S-9 a few weeks ago.

It is so quiet I find myself waving my hand in front of the little vents on the mask to make sure it's working!

I like the ramp-up feature more on this unit than my previous unit. I don't like fiddling with controls much, and this was set based upon my 3+ years on the old CPAP. So far, I really like it. It comes with a small inverter, and seems to use less power than my old unit (but that is based upon very limited specific knowledge of such things, rather by observation only).

I'll try to make the call. Thanks!
