So let the science speak on this.
If you are genuinely interested in staying healthy on the road I urge you to do some research,(you have Plenty of time behind that wheel).
Get the Audible app on your smartphone and buy, "Why we get fat", by Gary Taubes. Its got some amazing information and cites studies both old and new. Some science in there as well. The upshot is that carbs and sugar raise insulin levels and high insulin makes your body retain and store fat. If you keep your blood sugar level low and constant the reverse happens, your body burns fat stores. That is it in a nutshell. The book will leave you in no doubt how you should eat for fat loss, increased energy and general well being.
If you choose to exercise then get yourself a 24kg/45lb kettlebell, go see a kettlebell coach next time your home and have them teach you the hard style kettlebell swing,(important to learn correct technique). Start out doing what you can and try and work up to 300 swings a day. Google 300 swing challenge for more info. If you want throw in some Turkish get ups as well, Google that as well. Then buy Pavel Tsatsoulines book,"Simple and sinister".
I am a team driver and I manage to do this, I fell better, have more energy and get less stressed about life on the road. It requires a commitment to follow this lifestyle, however if you do it for a month you will feel like a different person.Dr_Fandango44 and Lady K Thank this. -
I haven't heard a word about eating an all organic, chemical free, additive free, preservative free diet. Anyone out there eat this way? We carry almost all of our food because it is so important to eat as close to the source as possible.
