I will be going to US EXPRESS and they have told me that to get cleared thru medical I need my doctor to write a medical release concerning the complete discontinuation of the use of oxycodone (pain meds ) and that I am able to perform the required duties of the job while not using such meds. Does this sound familiar to you guys, and also, will this in any way cause the company to not accept me just due to the fact that I was on a managed care regimen for years and all of a sudden stop?BTW , I will also have to detox a couple weeks too before going just to be sure that I am well adjusted before starting out.Im looking forward to the discussion this thread will create.

Were you on the sustained level, Oxycontin type products? I guess you will find out, good luck with it.

I couldn't tell you other than some find use of such things for any reason, even pain management, objectionable.
