Ok so I'm pregnant and my company forced me into quitting. Now I'm curious, is there anything in the DOT regulations that say a pregnant woman cannot drive a cmv??

I have heard of several people working all the way up to delivery but if I were you I would not tell anyone you are pregnant if you go to look for another job, they are not supposed to ask either it is considered discriminatory but if they ask and you answer it is on you. So, if they ask tell them they are discriminating and you are not obligated to answer. I'm no lawyer just know because my grandma's sister worked for labor and waging board.

Indeed, ..... you cannot be fired for being pregnant....that's a no no BUT if you quit,or were pressured to quit and folded up then it's on you.

What exactly happened? Who said what? What did you sign? A good lawyer may still be able to make meatloaf out of this hamburger....and if it's a mega carrier.....smoke 'em gal.

Basically I found out bout the pregnancy while on home time... I was just coming out of the training program and about to be first seated. I have a 3 year old with special needs and knowing that my previous pregnancy was considered high risk I called my coordinator to ask what they would prefer I do. They said in order to protect my hire ability in the future my best bet was to willingly quit
being eligible for rehire after the baby is born. The other aspect of this is that at some point I MAY end up on insulin due to gestational diabetes.
