    Pulled back muscle, ok to take muscle relaxer?

    I pulled my back muscle at the gym tuesday, i have orentation in 2 weeks. If i take Flexeril Muscle relaxer could this keep me from getting the job?

    I don't believe you would lose your job but since it is a relaxer you would not be able to drive while you are on this medication. Just be honest and up front with them tell them why your taking the meds and you shouldn't have a problem

    If you take anything, do it the right way through a doctor and prescription. With a prescription nobody can say anything. A company can shut you down if you are already driving, but they can't punish you.

    I know my sister takes muscle relaxers for her back and it zonks her out.

    I wouldn't think it would stay in your system 72 hours but I'm not familiar with that particular drug.

    Buy yourself a "Tens Unit" (google). You can get them for $40 and they do better than any drug.
