No flags. I've been on it for several years.

Yup, no red flags. Be prepared for cramping up. Some people get it so bad they stop taking the meds.

A driver I talk to tried telling me it can affect libido also. True or is he messing with me. I hope with diet and exercise I one day can be off of them. Thanx for all the replys. Now where is my fried bacon LOL

I helped a guy unstrap his load once. He just started taking Lipitor and had muscle cramps so bad he couldn't move. They were in the muscles in back of his thigh. He had to lay on the ground with his foot on the step of his truck while pushing down on his leg. It was an easy load to unstrap and he just kept saying he was sorry. Felt pretty bad for him.

I have been taking one for good & one for bad cholesterol since 2011 when I had my heart attack. I haven't had any issues with side effects as far as I know or DOT regulations.

Cholesterol is high triglyceride levels inside your arteries...what reduces that: sterols & stenols will lower your triglyceride. What kinds of food are high in sterols...sesame seeds, peanut butter & dark leafy greens. (plant sterols work by blocking the absorption of cholesterol inside your intestine...eating these foods is a daily chore in preventing further absorption of cholesterol in your blood)

What about deposits of cholesterol already inside your arteries; a supplement like Nattokinase will dissolve cholesterol, nattokinase is from the fermented japanese food called, Natto.

What about the removal of the cholesterol from your body, how can i find help with that: fiber will help with is removal. Over the counter supplements exists for the truckers lifestyle to pop a few every three hours while driving down the road as well as food...gotta love the beans.

Also, as one of your commenters recommended, red yeast rice. Yeast is a Beta Glucan, these help lower cholesterol too. Other forms of Beta Glucans are:
oats, (oatmeal) barley, yeast and mushrooms (mushrooms must be cooked or sun dried for the benefit).
