Smile Notarps this article is for you/ and all coffee drinkers!

Coffee can be good for you, experts say
5/1/07
Quote:
NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - Drinking coffee can help ward off type 2 diabetes and may even help prevent certain cancers, according to panelists discussing the benefits -- and risks -- of the beverage at a scientific meeting.
"We're coming from a situation where coffee had a very negative health image," Dr. Rob van Dam of the Harvard School of Public Health, who has conducted studies on coffee consumption and diabetes, told Reuters Health. Nevertheless, he added, "it's not like we're promoting coffee as the new health food and asking people who don't like coffee to drink coffee for their health."
Van Dam participated in a "controversy session" on coffee at the Experimental Biology 2007 meeting underway in Washington, D.C.

I avg 36 cups of strong, black coffee a day and have for several years. That is about 13,140 cups a year. I ought to live for a long time. My heart will probably beat for several years after I am buried. I been drinking coffee for 40 years and am only 45.

36 cups in 24 hrs a day ? lets break this down. ok say you sleep 6 hrs a day, shower 15 minutes, eat 1 hour, poop/bathroom duties 30 minutes, chase momma monkey around 5 minutes, sexy time with momma monkey-secret info, unsaid info- 1 hr, so we are looking at approx about 9 hrs a day of busy time , which leaves 12 hrs to drink 36 cups, 3 cups an hour, thats not too bad........

Who says I don't drink coffee during these mentioned times? 36 cups is 3 pots. That is just my avg. Some days I drink more.
