Quote:
National Geographic is filming a documentary on the fatigue issue and how it is monitored and combated that will air later this year.

Dupré Logistics, Lafayette, La., was selected for this feature because of its proactive stance to combat driver fatigue. A film production company was recently in Lafayette to capture Dupré's program.

In 2001, Dupré consulted with Circadian Technologies to become more educated on fatigue and then implemented a program to manage its now over 650 truck drivers. This included a program focusing on alertness and safety, biological clock, better sleep, health and eating to name a few. For the past eight years, Dupré's success has been rewarded with multiple state and national safety awards.
